DISEÑO DE UN MANUAL DE PROCEDIMIENTOS PARA LA DIRECCIÓN DE MERCADOS, FERIAS Y PLATAFORMAS DEL DISTRITO METROPOLITANO DE QUITO

Abstract

The District Coordination Agency for Trade through the Directorate of Markets, Fairs and Platforms has been administering the markets, fairs and platforms of the Metropolitan District of Quito, observing a constant growth, which in addition to generating expectation in the citizenship has generated consequently, the increase of both internal and external procedures to have the acceptance and appreciation of the people of Quito. So the Directorate of Markets, Fairs and Platforms, has seen the need to optimize internal and external processes to achieve the expected profitability and customer satisfaction in this case the citizens of Quito having an Administrator in each of the markets, fairs and platforms. The current volume of work involves including an administrator in charge of three or four markets under his responsibility, in order to optimize the operational processes of all internal and external procedures. Planning as the main axis of the Directorate of Markets, Fairs and Platforms has been unbalanced by the lack of support and the lack of improvement in their processes, so we will focus on improving them and achieve the assigned goals of the Direction of Markets, Fairs and Platforms since as a municipal institution it must adapt to the changes that the current society entails. The Directorate of Markets, Fairs and Platforms besides being the main engine of the District Coordination Agency of Commerce is associated with the Logistics and Operations Department, the Communication ÁREA, the Legal ÁREA, the Human Talent ÁREA, so we will include in this manual of procedures to optimize the resources and maintain an efficiency in all its departments and above all that the personnel in charge are satisfied with the work done.
